Deaf History International (DHI) is an international association for all interested in the study, preservation, and dissemination of deaf people’s history. DHI aims to inform the global Deaf community on all aspects of its history and to provide information for academic and community purposes. An important strategy for achieving this is their international conferences, which have been held every three years since 1991.

Through their website, newsletter and networks, DHI offers information on past and upcoming conferences, and the proceedings of those conferences. They create timelines for aspects of Deaf history, such as Theatre, Sport and International Meetings. They provide information about Deaf history associations, events and museums and archives in each country.
