Sydney Town Hall

Saturday, 21 July 2018

AUD$180.00 (inc 10% GST) per head includes a sit-down meal with drinks and entertainment

Located in the heart of the city, Sydney Town Hall is an iconic civic landmark which combines state-of-the-art venue facilities with spectacular heritage architecture and interior decoration. The conference banquet venue is a place of historical significance for the Australian Deaf community.  Originally the site of the colony’s first cemetery, the gravesite of the first known deaf convict, Elizabeth Steel, has been located under the building, and the remains of her headstone are a feature of the Town Hall’s historical displays.

Sydney Town Hall was also the venue of an historic meeting that established a local community organisation, the Deaf Society.

The Closing Banquet will include entertainment celebrating the historical significance of the Town Hall.

Admission to the Closing Banquet is not included in any of the registration options – booking and payment is done separately.   You will require a ticket per person.
